Hopefully you are well on your way to lesson number one: while Americans have no patience with those who are not proficient in the English language, Latinos are completely the opposite with theirs! Take this opportunity to test your Spanish wings. I found that my time in remote areas of Mexico and the Dominican Republic really helped me to learn that beautiful language. It helps to go to places where you will have to speak Spanish and it also provides you an opportunity to see rural Ecuador and as we all know the rural areas are where the “real” people live ) I am overwhelmed with joy for you guys and will try not to write incessantly but no promises; it is the mother in me.

Way to go!! Still on Cedar Ave. Final moving sale today. Then a gathering tomorrow 5-7 pm for neighbors to welcome new owners. Settlement Monday. Then Tuesday–goddess willing & the crick don’t rise– I’m out of here!
