Our Time in Peru
Machu Picchu was undoubtably the highlight of Peru for us; it’s place that has to be seen to be believed. But there is so much more to this fascinating country – it’s a place anyone could enjoy visiting.
We’ve posted our report on our time in Peru here, including some advice on an itinerary for visiting and other recommendations.

Love your “summary” & recommendations. Good for those of us fantasizing that we may make such a trip. Looking forward to more about Buenos Aires.
p.s. Can’t wait to see Dani’s new topper!
Thanks for the Peru info – it will come in handy. Always good to have a recommendation outside of a guide book. Also looking forward to your Buenos Aires thoughts.
Hello Crag and family!
Just LOVING your site! Wonderful to read the history – so informative who needs history lessons when we have you!!
We are to be traveling with our family, one comment though – how on earth do you fit all the school books into one suitcase?? we will need a truck at least! (kids are super bright don’t want them to fall behind)
Happy travels
Liz
PS Dani never mind ‘ol red, get a brown one – better for India!
Wow, I can’t wait to go there too. Sounds incredible.
Thanks for the tips… we’ll certainly try to book something in advance in Cusco.
I think the same, Peru is the best. I traveled with my wife a few years ago and have a good time. Furthermore, of Cuzco and Machu Picchu, we had the opportunity to visit other cities such as Arequipa, Ayacucho and Huancayo. What we liked most was that each place was different and had completely different cultures. It was an unforgettable journey that has not been so perfect without the help of the travel agency to hire; they were responsible for organizing all our tours and accommodations. The name is TurPeru and I recommend you if you travel to Peru. If you want more information the web is http://www.turperu.com.pe
